Sourwood Honey

Sourwood Honey

This is the honey that the Queen should serve at tea!  Voted the Best Honey in the World at international honey shows you are unlikely to find it available at your local farmer's market.  Sourwood trees(also known as the Lily of the Valley Tree or the Appalachian Lily Tree) are found primarily in the mountains of North Georgia and Western North Carolina.  Due to the abundant rain in this region, along with a very short nectar flow, the Sourwood honey is a rare comodity.

*Honey is sold by net weight, not fluid ounces.  This is the industry standard.*
